*Update: Please see the agenda for the day for individual speaker times and titles.* (Last updated 0n 5/18/18)
On Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 we held the 4th Annual Symposium of the Neurotechnology Center at Columbia University on the topic of Dendritic Computation, sponsored by the generous support of the Army Research Office (MURI Program). The symposium will feature talks from selected leaders in the fields of dendritic structure, cell biology, biophysics and computation. We will examine key questions and challenges of this field while at the same time review new methods and experimental and theoretical tools. These new methods could launch a new wave of research in this critical area of neuroscience, and push through the experimental challenges to arrive at a first understanding of how neurons compute.
All attendees are invited to join us for breakfast starting at 8am, lunch at 1pm and the poster session and reception from 6-8pm. The talks will begin at 8:30am.
Please register for the Symposium using the form below. Upon registration submission, you will be directed to the poster abstract submission page (abstract submission is optional). In addition to the listed speakers, two of the abstracts will be selected to receive invitations to present a talk at the symposium. If you have already registered, but would like to submit an abstract, please click here for the abstract submission page. The submission deadline for abstracts is
